Postural tachycardia syndrome often, or POTS, results in a variety of symptoms, amongst right-sided rib pain. This pain is commonly felt on the side and intensifies when upright. Despite POTS itself does not immediately impact the ribs, several factors factor in to this painful sensation. These factors can include spasms in the chest wall.
